PITTSBURGH (Reuters) – Former Penn State University Athletic Director Tim Curley, who faces lying under oath charges stemming from the child sex abuse scandal that has rocked the school, is suffering from lung cancer, his family said on Wednesday. A malignant cancerous cancer was exposed in June 2010 and half of Curley’s lung was removed, his family said in a statement.
