The Green Bay Packers’ perfect season came to a crashing halt against the struggling Kansas City Chiefs, who had just fired their coach and were early a new quarterback.
Sidney Crosby split a pair of defenders, worked the puck to his backhand and let it glide.
Sticking to his deadline, NBA Commissioner David Stern erased the initially two weeks of the season after negotiations failed to produce a new labor deal and warned that more games were in jeopardy of being cut.

“Arrested Development” creator Mitch Hurwitz announced today that the show will be coming back to television — five years after it was cancelled.
Hurwitz said the show will do a “limited” season which will show us what the characters have been up to since the show last aired … which will then lead right into the plotted movie.
There is no official deal in place yet for where or when the show will air.
