Jermain Sellers fan out there, we should form a Jermain fan club. He was the best and he should audition for America’s got talent so that he can be himself instead of being pop singer that AL wants him to be. He was the reason i was watching AL and voted for him 20 times and I bought his album at the Amazon. Please someone help on this, Jermaine needs to be where he should be….at the TOP!

For a fantasia and whitney there is druggie whore lindsay lohan and the favorite on AI this year is single mother who was probably knocked up while on welfare. Its obvious you project everything that is negative onto black people. Sad.
Actually I’m not a big television watcher, but if you are so inclined you actually can find programming that is both tasteful and uplifting! I watch Idol because it’s fun, I also watch “Mad Men” on AMC and I watch “Big Love’ on HBO now and then, I also watch the History Channel which has some of the best programming on Television, other than that I watch C-span and some Canadian television (CBC mostly) on line. But I’m mostly a reader!! Right now I’m reading Anna Karenina by Tolstoy, try it!
Throwing out the names of a one time welfare queen, semi-illiterate teen mom (Fantasia) and a heroine drug-addict (Whitney) is not very impressive! Next time aim higher!! As for Jermaine, actually, I simply talked about his lack of talent! It’s true that I don’t know him personally, but judging from his delusional and obnoxious personality display on Idol, I really would not want to be acquainted with him!!
I don’t watch MTV either, nor Vh1, but still, BET is the worst offender, how can any self-respecting black person watch that disgusting channel, it’s really sad that black people in America have no culture but filth!! I feel sorry for you, but it’s your own fault because you refuse to cultivate a more positive culture, and that’s why you have never really accomplished anything of significance. But I suppose you have a right to perpetuate a culture of filth, it is your choice!
I’m sure I know a lot more about music than you do. But I’m not going to get into a long discussion about it. People have different tastes, I’m sure you wouldn’t know an an adagio if it slapped you in your face! But I do have the right to my opinion and I think Jermaine Sellers is a no talent hack, you can differ. And yes, BET is rather tasteless, it’s just so sad that just because some people are black, they will consume anything that has the word “black” in it, even Junk. I hate MTV too!!

They said the same thing about Jennifer Hudson, who straight up came from church along with Fantasia. Its always something how you never get your props until you’re up for a Grammy or even an Oscar huh??!! And you should never talk about other people just because YOU dont know about them. And since you never watch BET you missed a good one when a ‘ Gospel singer named Kim Burrell, unknown to the secular world’ brought the house down when she honored Whitney Houston. You got You Tube, watch it!

No I don’t watch BET because the few times that I have watched it, I have seen people acting horrible and classless!! Well at least they have a little gospel on there, but it cannot compensate for the other tasteless and disgusting programming on that channel!
@plutogirllovekj If you don’t watch BET then you wouldn’t know the show but it was a great one featuring talented artists, focusing on gospel. Just to answer your question. Btw, all of the contestants were extremely talented.
What the heck is “Sunday Best”??!! I’ve never even heard of that show. And if this no-talent hack was a finalist on it, it was probably full of no-talent hacks to begin with!!
Jermaine Sellers was sooo annoying!! Thank God he went home, I couldn’t take him anymore, he as an enormous, completely unjustified, ego!! And he seemed to think he was the only person on this green Earth who actually believed in God, since he talked about it 24/7!! Thank God above this fool is gone!! Thank you America, you definitely got this one right. Good Riddance Jermaine, now you can go back to church and praise god without abusing all of our ears!!
Ya, i agree that he was 2 good for the show and the judges didn’t understand how much talent he has. I love American Idol, but they just sent a great vocalist home.

He got eliminated for nothing. He was the best, to good for the show anyway. The judges didn’t understand his kind of singing which made America believe he wasn’t good. He’ll get a record deal. But I’m done watching this crappy show!

I thought this was really good until the second screaming section which admittedly was painful on the ears. Prior to that though it was really cool and original
@ jrellpro14 the rest of us know him from being at Black Gay Pride for Labor Day and MLK & at Bulldogs on Peachtree Street in Atlanta every damn weekend looking like he was too good to be there…He needs to calm down.
