GSP: “I’d rather fight Diaz than Condit” – Inside MMA

While LIVE on Inside MMA on Monday UFC Welterweight Champion Georges St-Pierre dropped a bit of a bombshell on us, telling Kenny and Bas that although he likes Carlos Condit more as a person he would rather see Nick Diaz win the Diaz v. Condit fight, because he would rather fight Nick Diaz. Here GSP explains his reasoning.

GSP is anything but a warrior…he is an athlete and a strategist.. a warrior goes to do battle like BJ Penn or Nick Diaz a strategist finds an easy way to get the win… GSP tapped from strikes to Serra..thus proving he his no warrior…BJ Penn and Nick Diaz would never tap to strikes there 2 different breed of animals… GSP plays it safe and im getting bored of his Mr nice guy attitude all the time it seems fake… GSP is going to Jab and takedown he dosent want a war hes a punk… WAR DIAZ!

GSP has the heart of a champion and a mind of a warrior. you can see it unless youre blind. he is like no other fighter or athlete.go ahead and compare. the best people in the world get negativity because greatness is hard to understand. small minds will never grasp the concept of perception and honor and deep commitment to one self. if its boring to “watch” his fights and rather watch ko’s or w/e then watch a WCW or WWF match. RESPECT GSP , he is an honorable man with many accomplishments…
gsp is amazing, but if he fights diaz it will become a grappling fight not a stand up fight

@ChrisDodd45 last time he took a risk he got KO? he actually takes a risk everytime he gets in the octagon. Hes known as a finisher (no matter what ANYONE else says, he has 13 finishes in 24 fights). just because his last few fights were kinda boring, doesn’t mean he will go down as the most boring. It only takes one KO. Look at Silva for example, he fought Leites and Maia and everyone said he sux and didnt deserve to fight GSP! jesus and now he pwning and everyone loves him.. stfu
GSP is a great fighter but will go down as the most boring champion in UFC. The last time he took a risk he got KO. Im sure lots of people like his fights but I would rather watch 1 round of Diaz than a whole GSP fight.
I would crap myself laughing if Condit screws Diaz plans for the belt, and everyone (including GSP) gets a poker face as result. Last guy eager to get a belt from a champion, without caring who stand in the way, got his ass retired. Remember Lesnar? How he want to get Junior dos Santos’s belt? There was only a little problem in the way called Alistair Overeem.
