sorry for my late reply, but wheesung is not about dancing. He is so bad at dancing. it’s utterly disgusting, but instead takes a strong virtuoso stand on his voice. Infact, I think he was the primary vocal coach for some korean record company that produced big bang, while making his own hits. In one of his songs, he easily hit a high C with a falsetto, which is remarkable for a baritone. Even though these korean artists have a long way to go, if you’re into kpop, go for wheesung and rain.

I agree that John Park didn’t do so well with this performance, but if you’re going to make stupid references like that, you should at least smart about it, or at least a tad educated.

Great voice but i think it would be great if he chose a more upbeat song or something different so we know what he is capable of. It just seems like he is playing safe with his choice of songs.

However I never said he doesn’t have a future. Like I said, the K-pop fans who have been voting for him the past few weeks are ready to see him debut with a Korean boyband! possibly 2PM!

why do everyone got to insult Americans and call us racist? i am american and i am not asian and i voted for john. he did not get voted off because he is asian he got voted off because he did not do too well both times.
funny thing when he got voted off his performance was 10 times better compare to the time when he was in the competition. now noone cant say i am not a john park fan as i was voting for him over 100 times on both nights he was there.

Lea Salonga (she’s in Les Miserables, she did Mulan, Jasmine’s from Aladdin, Pochahonta’s singing), Charice Pempengco (sang with Celine Dion, Andrea Bocelli, etc.), Regine Velasquez (~Asia’s Songbird~), Arnel Pineda, Davichi, SunYe/YuEun of WG, Taeyeon of SNSD, DBSK, Davichi, a girl from After School, 2AM, Yesung/Kyuhyun/Ryewook of SuJu, Taeyang/Daesung of Big Bang, 2AM, Jane Zhang, etc. If you didnt have a preconceived notion we can’t sing then maybe you’ll see their abilities. BTW Look harder.

Asians can’t sing, huh? Listen to Kim Jonghyun’s voice, Kim Jong-Woon (Yesung), Kim Ryeo-wook~ or Max Changmin maybe. I already said Kim Jonghyun~~ but is better to listen to the group SHINee itself. They can sing LIVE perfectly while they dance HARD choreographys and they are also pretty boys. So~~ …
John is Awesome. I think he might need more training, but he CAN sing. <3

@lou9393 lots of asians have double eye lids and big eyes… it is very common and is not considered special among asians. However, westerns have this kind of mind set that think asians are supposed to have small eyes and flat nose…this is so not fair..

@micap20078 By the same argument Caucasians have nose reduction and hair removal surgery to look more Asian. The prettiest people are usually a mix of ethnicities; just go to Hawaii for evidence or look at any White – Asian mix.
BTW, Korean stars are big in Asia and the US (e.g., Daniel Dae Kim, John Cho), which is pretty amazing for a country with less than 1/6th the population of the US and a Korean population that makes up less than 0.5% of the US.
